FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that experienced FX industry executive Michael Going has joined APM Capital Markets, to help with the launch of the company’s UK entity, as Sales and Service lead.
Michael Going spent the past year in sales at institutional multi-asset brokerage Britannia. Prior to his time at Britannia, Michael spent two years at Capital.com as a Sales Manager in London. Michael joined Capital.com following a brief stint at institutional broker LMAX. Before joining LMAX in early 2022 Michael worked for 5+ years at IG in institutional sales. He also previously worked at ETX Capital (later known as OvalX).
APM Capital is part of Asseta Holding Limited, the holding company controlled by Disha Rajdev, an Indian national resident in the UAE. Last year APM Capital acquired BUX Financial Services Limited, the UK arm of Amsterdam based neobroker BUX, after BUX was taken over by Dutch banking firm ABN Amro and decided to shed its non-core (i.e. non EU) operations. The new ownership indicated at the time that it plans to launch a new trading platform and develop a new customer base in the UK under the APM Markets brand. Earlier this year the company named Nick Spencer-Skeen as Executive Director for APM Capital UK.
