FNG has learned that Cyprus based Retail FX and CFDs broker XM.com has hired a new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), in the person of Nasos Topakas.

Nasos Topakas come from outside “the industry” but has been a leading technology executive in the US for more than two decades. Most notably, Nasos was CTO of online event ticket exchange StubHub, from 2005-2007, when StubHub was acquired by eBay. He went on to become CTO of several companies including SendMe (online media), Art.com, and Prosper (personal loan marketplace). Most recently, Nasos was Chief Engineering Officer at software company Sitecore.

Nasos posted the following note on social media regarding his move to XM.com.
