Diversified global financial services platform Marex today announced that John W. Pietrowicz has been appointed to the Group Board and is expected to join later this year. He will serve as a member of the Audit & Compliance Committee.
Mr Pietrowicz was Chief Financial Officer of CME Group from 2015 until 2023, having joined CME Group in 2003. Prior to becoming CFO, he was responsible for corporate development and mergers and acquisitions activity at CME Group. Before joining CME Group, he served as Chief Financial Officer for The Merchants’ Exchange, an electronic commodities exchange based in Chicago. Mr Pietrowicz also served on the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council (FASAC).
