Online broker eToro announces the expansion of its proxy voting services to include non-US stocks, bringing more power to its clients’ investment decisions.
After witnessing strong user engagement, the company has decided to make proxy voting available for all stocks listed on eToro. This means eToro clients now have a say in the companies they are invested in, without the need for middlemen or costly travel to shareholder meetings.
eToro is partnering with Broadridge, a global fintech leader, to facilitate this process.
Here’s what to expect:
- Notification: You’ll receive an email from us whenever there’s a vote on a proposal for stocks you own that are supported by Broadridge.
- Convenience: The email will be sent to the address associated with your eToro account.
- Voting: After you’ve made your decision, Broadridge will compile your vote with others and formally register it with the company on your behalf.
