The third month of the new financial year will have 10 bank holidays as per the list of holidays released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). This includes the weekend holidays, i.e., the second and fourth Saturdays and all Sundays.
The month of June will see some significant festivals across India like Raja Sankranti, YMA Day, Bakri Id (Id-Uz-Zoha), etc. Banks across India would be closed for about 10 days in the third month of the new financial year, June 2024, national and region specific.
The RBI had issued the list of holidays for 2024 in its annual list. According to this, all public and private sector banks across India will remain closed for up to 10 days in June, 2024, including the weekend leaves. However, we must note that the banks will not be closed for 10 days in all states or regions.
Internet banking services will continue to be operational during these days. ATM service will also be available. Some of the holidays in the list are specific to certain states only or regional holidays while few are designated as public holidays.

- June 15: YMA Day/Raja Sankranti
- June 17: Bakri ID (Id-Uz-Zuha)
- June 18: Bakri ID (Id-Uz-Zuha)
Apart from this list, as per the Holiday Under Negotiable Instruments Act, the banks will also remain closed on some of the days of the weekends. These are mentioned below:

- June 16 – Sunday
- June 22 – Fourth Saturday
- June 23 – Sunday
- June 30 – Sunday
