Bank of Baroda, in collaboration with Microsoft, has announced the launch of a nationwide hackathon focused on Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI).
Open to individuals and teams, including developers, students, professionals, start-ups, and fintechs, this two-month-long event will emphasize ideation and prototype development. Bank of Baroda seeks groundbreaking solutions in six areas: customer service, financial advisory, audit & compliance, risk management, operational efficiency, and personalized content generation.
The top three teams will receive cash prizes of Rs 5 lakh, Rs 3 lakh, and Rs 2 lakh respectively, with the Bank planning to implement the best ideas from the hackathon.

- Participants can register for the hackathon by visiting bobhackathon.com.
- Teams can consist of up to four members, and individuals can also register.
- Ideas can be submitted from June 10, 2024, to June 30, 2024.
- Shortlisted teams will be asked to develop prototypes, which will determine the winners.

Shortlisted teams will receive Azure credits, technical resources, and mentoring sessions from Microsoft and Bank of Baroda subject matter experts.
