Moody’s, on Tuesday announced the appointment of Durga Bhavani as the new Managing Director and Head of its India Global Capability Center (GCC).
This move places Durga at the helm of Moody’s operations in India, where she will lead the execution of GCC strategy and local leadership objectives across all Moody’s India locations.
In her new role, Durga will oversee the execution of capability center strategy and local leadership objectives across all Moody’s India locations. She will be responsible for driving the company forward with her extensive industry experience and leadership skills.
Before her current role at Moody’s, Durga worked at CRISIL (an S&P subsidiary) and in GE Capital’s risk management division.
Durga brings a wealth of experience in leading global teams and managing functions that deliver high-quality research, data, and analytics.
Her journey with Moody’s began in 2006 as a lead analyst in the structured finance team in London. Most recently, Durga led analytical support teams in Costa Rica, India, and Lithuania, where she was responsible for end-to-end operations.
Moody’s operates three global capability centers located in India, Costa Rica, and Lithuania, which support its global business operations alongside other shared service functions such as IT, corporate affairs, finance, and human resources.
