OANDA Japan Inc, a subsidiary of online broker OANDA Corporation, will introduce open interest market capitalization limit.
The change will be implemented at the start of trading on Monday, August 12, 2024.
For the NY Server, the total value of all subaccounts will be used for the judgment.
If the absolute value of the market capitalization of all unsettled short positions and all long positions in all trading accounts on the NY server reaches 60 million USD, no further orders will be accepted.
For the Tokyo Server, the judgment will be made for each subaccount.
If the absolute value of the total market capitalization in USD of all open short positions or all open long positions in each trading account on the Tokyo server reaches 60 million USD, any further orders will not be accepted.
