Euroclear announced today that Kristof Macours has been appointed as Group General Counsel and Division Head of Legal and Corporate Secretariat.
Mr Macours brings extensive legal experience to this role. Previously, he served as Group Company Secretary, and before joining Euroclear, he was Head of Legal at BNP Paribas Fortis and Deputy General Counsel at BNP Paribas Group.
Bringing the Legal division and the Corporate Secretariat together under his leadership will enhance collaboration and create opportunities for cross-fertilisation of skills and knowledge.
Kristof Macours will report directly to the CEO of Euroclear.
