FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that New Zealand based Retail FX and CFDs broker BlackBull Markets has seen the departure of Kyriaki Iacovou, BlackBull’s Regional Director for the EU, and head of its Cyprus office.
Kyriaki Iacovou joined BlackBull Markets to head its Cyprus operations in 2021. She had previously worked at Scope Markets (2018-2021), and at PrimeXM (2018-2018).
BlackBull Markets is run from Auckland, New Zealand by founder, CEO, and controlling shareholder Michael Walker. The broker is a registered Financial Services Provider in New Zealand via Black Bull Group Limited, and runs an offshore operation in Seychelles, BBG Limited. BlackBull also saw the recent departure of its longtime Chief Strategy Officer, Benjamin Boulter.
Kyriaki posted the following note today on social media regarding her departure from BlackBull.
After more than three amazing years, I’ve decided to step down from my role as Regional Director at BlackBull. I want to sincerely thank the senior leadership for their support and trust during this time—it’s been an incredible journey.
It’s been a privilege to work with some truly talented professionals, and I’m especially proud of the opportunity to help set up and grow our offices in Cyprus and Dubai, alongside some incredible colleagues. Those experiences have been invaluable and ones I’ll always cherish.
I’m now looking forward to the next chapter of my career, which I’ll be sharing soon. Excited for what’s to come!
