Italy’s Companies and Exchange Commission (CONSOB) has ordered the blocking of more unauthorized investment websites.
The websites targeted by the latest orders are:
- “Revolutfx” (website www.revolutfx.net and related page https://client.revolutfx.net);
- Macan Holdings Ltd (website www.macanlimited-holdingsltd.com and related page https://trd.macanlimited-holdingsltd.com);
- “Emeraltrade” (website www.emeraltrade.com and related page https://trade.emeraltrade.com);
- “ITradinFX” (website www.itradingfx.com and related pages https://account.itradingfx.com and https://tradingapi.tradingchart.io);
- “TSAFGroup” (website www.tsafgroup.com and related page https://client.tsafgroup.com).
Earlier this week, the regulator ordered the blocking of access to a website (www.intelligenza-ai.com) offering crypto tokens with a deficient white paper. This move continues an effort that started last week.
The total number of sites blocked by Consob has thus risen to 1232 since the Authority was given the power to order the blackout of the websites of abusive financial intermediaries in July 2019.
The black-out of these websites by Internet service providers operating on Italian territory is ongoing. For technical reasons, it can take several days for the blocking to be implemented.
