Securitize extends its Apollo Diversified Credit Fund (ACRED) to the Sei network with Wormhole’s multichain interoperability, enhancing liquidity and access for institutional investors.
Securitize has extended its Securitize Tokenized Apollo Diversified Credit Fund (ACRED) to the Sei network, leveraging Wormhole’s interoperability technology. This strategic expansion marks Sei’s foray into the burgeoning tokenized private credit market, which currently holds over $17 billion in tokenized real-world assets, according to wormhole.com.
Enabling Institutional Grade Multichain Access
Wormhole serves as the official interoperability provider, enabling seamless movement of ACRED tokens across various blockchain ecosystems. This functionality significantly enhances liquidity and access for institutional investors by allowing capital deployment across multiple networks without compromising security or compliance. The expansion to Sei capitalizes on the network’s advanced finality times and parallel processing capabilities to deliver top-tier performance for tokenized private credit.
The secure messaging protocol of Wormhole ensures that ACRED holders can transfer tokens between Sei and other supported networks, including Ethereum, Avalanche, Polygon, Solana, and Ink by Kraken. This multichain capability is particularly beneficial for institutional investors who require the flexibility to operate across diverse blockchain environments.
Powering the Next Wave of Tokenized Assets
The integration of ACRED into Sei demonstrates Wormhole’s ability to enable traditional financial institutions to tap into blockchain ecosystems. ACRED offers tokenized access to Apollo’s diversified global credit strategy, representing significant progress in onchain institutional-grade private credit, with 24/7 availability and near real-time settlement.
Sei’s technical framework, coupled with Wormhole’s proven interoperability solutions, opens up new possibilities for tokenized fund functionality. Qualified investors gain access to daily NAV pricing, automated compliance reporting, and native DeFi composability while adhering to regulatory standards expected by institutional investors.
Building on Proven Institutional Infrastructure
This expansion builds on Wormhole’s established role as the interoperability provider for Securitize-issued tokenized funds, including BlackRock’s BUIDL, VanEck’s VBILL, and Hamilton Lane’s SCOPE. With over $65 billion facilitated in multichain volume, Wormhole leads in secure institutional-grade token transfers across blockchains.
The involvement of institutional players like Apollo and Blackrock in blockchain networks signifies the maturation of tokenized asset infrastructure. As private credit markets are projected to reach $2.8 trillion by 2028, Wormhole’s capabilities allow funds like ACRED to operate confidently across multiple ecosystems, unlocking broader opportunities for investors.
By connecting premier tokenized assets with high-performance networks through secure interoperability, Wormhole and Securitize lay the groundwork for more accessible and efficient global capital markets. This collaboration illustrates how blockchain infrastructure can foster institutional participation in private credit while maintaining the trust and compliance required by investors.
The expansion of ACRED to Sei marks another milestone in bringing regulated, high-quality tokenized real-world assets to institutional audiences, driven by infrastructure that enables truly borderless institutional finance.
