The mobile and net banking services of Bandhan Bank remained unresponsive on Wednesday and the customers flooded social media platform X complaining about the inconvenience.
Bandhan Bank on Tuesday informed the stock exchanges through an intimation that it has successfully completed migration of its Core Banking System and Internet Banking to a new platform on October 03, 2023.
The bank in a message said, “We are facing intermittent slowness in our newly launched Internet and mobile banking platforms. We are working to resolve the same on priority. In case you have urgent banking requirements, please visit your nearest branch and our staff will help you out. We regret the inconvenience caused.”
Many bank users took to X and expressed their dissatisfaction with the bank.
“Any updates from the world class team of this world class Bank??? It is now over 92 hours of outage of netbanking, UPI, mbandhan. Branches are also helpless and clueless,” wrote a user on X.

Another use wrote, “It’s irritating and irrelevant asking to change passwords. Your system unable to generate otps and we are unable to validate generated otps. Such an irresponsible process to move banking platforms in the beginning of the month, Worst banking experience ever.”
“Bandhan Bank has managed to upgrade its Net Banking and Mobile Banking experience from ‘good and working’ to ‘completely broken,” read another tweet.
