Binance announces support for upcoming Cosmos (ATOM) and Kadena (KDA) network upgrades and hard forks, ensuring a seamless user experience.





Binance, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced its support for the upcoming network upgrades and hard forks of Cosmos (ATOM) and Kadena (KDA), according to Binance.

Details of the Upgrades

The Cosmos (ATOM) network upgrade is scheduled to occur at block height 21,835,200, with Binance planning to suspend deposits and withdrawals on the Cosmos network starting from approximately 2024-08-21 13:30 (UTC). Similarly, the Kadena (KDA) network upgrade and hard fork will take place at block height 5,060,924, with Binance suspending deposits and withdrawals on the Kadena network from around 2024-08-21 23:00 (UTC).

Impact on Trading

It is important to note that trading activities for tokens on the affected networks will not be impacted during these upgrades. Binance has assured users that it will handle all technical requirements necessary to facilitate these changes.

Resumption of Services

Deposits and withdrawals for tokens on the Cosmos and Kadena networks will be reopened once the upgraded networks are deemed stable. Binance has stated that no further announcements will be made regarding the reopening of these services.
