Bitfinex has rolled out Version 1.107 of its trading platform, introducing a series of performance improvements and bug fixes aimed at enhancing user experience, according to blog.bitfinex.com.
New Features
Among the new features, Bitfinex has added a pop-up notification to the Affiliate Dashboard to inform European Economic Area (EEA) customers about upcoming program changes. This addition is part of Bitfinex’s ongoing efforts to keep its users informed about significant updates.
Platform Improvements
The update includes several enhancements designed to streamline the trading process. A loading indicator has been added to the Spread Ladder, improving user feedback during operations. Additionally, new filters have been introduced to the Funding section, allowing users to sort by rate, period, and expired status, thereby enhancing the precision of funding notifications after creating a bid or offer.
Guest users will notice a change as order form actions are now disabled for them, a move likely aimed at increasing platform security and user privacy. The update also includes validation improvements for nickname requirements, ensuring compliance as users type.
User Interface and Security Enhancements
In terms of user interface improvements, the address dropdown in the withdrawal address whitelist settings now closes on a second click, enhancing user interaction. A new cancel button has been added to the 2FA disable confirmation pop-up, providing users with more control over their security settings.
The update also ensures that new subaccounts are immediately visible in the account list upon creation, and the security settings page now offers better responsiveness on smaller screens. Tooltips have been enhanced to display full API key texts, aiding users in managing long labels more effectively.
Furthermore, the crypto deposit helpful text in the wallet field has been updated for instances when no memo or tag is generated, clarifying the deposit process for users.
Bug Fixes
Several bug fixes accompany this release, addressing issues such as the tour and guides pop-up not reloading correctly, readability issues in the SAT (BTC) view mode, and button functionality on the detached Ladder widget. Additionally, the Depth chart states are now correctly centered vertically, and the Order Form amount slider reset issue has been resolved.
Other fixes include re-adding the ticker name in the 24h volume currency tooltip of the Tickers widget and ensuring the WS subscribe request to P0 is sent when increasing precision from P1. The FRR funding offer notification now correctly displays the rate amount, and the withdrawal Note character limit issue, which could cause API request failures, has been fixed. The visibility issue with the tokens’ tooltip in the withdrawal status pop-up has also been addressed.
Overall, Bitfinex’s latest update demonstrates a commitment to improving user experience through thoughtful enhancements and meticulous bug fixes, reinforcing its position as a leading cryptocurrency trading platform.
