The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has decided to withdraw the Cyprus investment firm (CIF) authorisation of Forex broker AAA Trade.

The decision was announced today but was made at a CySEC meeting held on March 4, 2024. The move is pursuant to section 8(1)(a) of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2017 and section 4(7) of Directive DI87-05.

The regulator notes that its decision to withdraw the license reflects the company’s decision to expressly renounce it.

CySEC’s website shows that AAA Trade operates via two approved domains: www.aaatrade.com and www.cryptoexchanger.eu.
