FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that newly launched, MENA focused Retail FX and CFDs broker Daman Markets has made another addition to its senior management team, hiring experienced industry executive Omar Qaryouti as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Omar Qaryouti joins Dubai based Daman Markets after working the past two years at liquidity and broker tech provider Advanced Markets, where he was Managing Director – Commercial and Sales for Emerging Markets. Omar served as COO of Dubai based broker CMS Prime in 2021-2022, after spending nine years at ADSS, ending his tenure at ADSS as Director and Senior Vice President – Sales.
Advanced Markets has seen the departures of a number of senior executives in recent months, with the company’s VP of Institutional Sales Shobin Simon leaving last month for MAS Markets, and longtime VP Institutional FX Sales and Marketing Anya Aratovskaya joining FOUNT Global earlier this year.
Daman Markets was launched as a new UAE/GCC focused MT5 CFDs broker late last year, spun out of UAE based financial services company Daman Securities, a wholly owned subsidiary of Daman Investments. Daman Markets is run by former Advanced Markets executive Samer Mourched.
