FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Mansoor Mushtaq, the longtime Head of Compliance at EC Markets Group Limited, has left the company.
Mansoor Mushtaq had been Head of Compliance at EC Markets Group Limited, the FCA-regulated, UK arm of Retail FX and CFDs broker EC Markets, for the past five years. Prior to joining EC Markets in 2020, Mansoor had previously worked in senior compliance roles at a number of online brokers including Global Markets Group (GMG UK), ETX Capital, Admirals, and City Credit Capital.
EC Markets operates licensed subsidiaries in the UK, Australia, and South Africa, as well as offshore entities in Seychelles and Mauritius. The group is run mainly from the UK, Cyprus, and Dubai, led by London based Group CEO Matt Smith, with Adam Saward acting as Managing Director of EC Markets UK. EC Markets is controlled by London based Chinese entrepreneur Xiaoliang Lyu.
