FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that longtime Equiti Group executive Liam Conway, who served as CEO for the past two years at the group’s London based, FCA regulated arm Equiti Capital, has left the company. Equiti Capital focuses on liquidity solutions to Professional and ECP clients across the world.

The company will soon be naming a replacement for Mr. Conway as CEO, once regulatory approvals are finalized.

Liam Conway joined Equiti Capital in 2018 as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In December 2021, he took on the role of Deputy Group CFO for the global Equiti Group, before being named as Equiti Capital CEO in early 2023. Equiti Capital has done fairly well under Mr. Conway’s leadership, posting Revenues of $31 million last year.

Prior to joining Equiti Capital, Liam Conway was UK Finance Director for Intercontinental Exchange Inc (ICE), a company that operates eleven exchanges (including the New York Stock Exchange) and seven clearing houses.
