FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that longtime Finalto / Markets.com market analyst Neil Wilson has left the company, and joined Saxo Bank UK in London as the company’s new Investor Strategist.
Neil Wilson had served as Chief Market Analyst at Retail FX and CFDs broker Markets.com since 2018, and also was B2B Chief Market Analyst at Markets.com’s parent company Finalto since 2022, before leaving the group at the end of last year. Prior to his time at Finalto / Markets.com, Neil had also worked at ETX Capital (later OvalX) as a Senior Market Analyst. Neil began his career as a financial writer for digital marketing agency Axonn.
Saxo Bank has seen a number of changes in its FCA licensed UK operation this year, including the departures of Saxo UK Chairman Richard Balarkas, and director Michael Ridley. Last year Saxo UK hired InvestCloud executive Andrew Bresler as CEO.
Saxo Bank, based in Copenhagen, was acquired by Safra Group unit J. Safra Sarasin Group earlier this year.
