FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that longtime FX and CFDs industry executive Jamieson Blake has launched a new fintech consultancy called Level 26. Jamieson describes Level 26 (website lvl26.biz) as a strategic consultancy purpose-built for early-stage SaaS businesses selling into financial services. Level 26 will help founders and revenue leaders implement the commercial and operational foundations needed to scale efficiently — from go-to-market clarity and pricing architecture to sales process design, pipeline rigor, and customer success alignment. Clients are often pre-Series A, navigating the complexity of selling into regulated and relationship-driven industries.
Jamieson Blake served as Head of Private Sales – EMEA at Saxo Bank (2013-2015), and later as Head of Client Experience – Europe and Latin America for UAE based broker ADSS (2016-2018). He was then Business Development Manager at TraditionDATA (2018-2021), the market data arm of inter dealer broker Tradition. He has also worked at London Capital Group. For the past three years, Jamieson was Chief Commercial Officer at financial data and content company Tellimer.

After many happy years building Tellimer into the successful business it is today, I’ve now taken the leap to do something I’ve dreamt of for years; leaning on my superpower ability to rationalise noise, keep it simple and get things done. I’m starting my Strategic Consultancy helping early stage SaaS/Subscription businesses selling into Financial Services get off the ground.
Having been on both sides of the interview table many times, it’s clear that there are a lot of great revenue leaders out there, however where most of them excel in building meaningful relationships, they lack in operational and structural excellence. Hiring for these roles can cost a small business in the region of £200,000, with large amounts of commitment and risk involved. For an early stage business, execution and cash are king, and getting these two wrong can be the difference between success and failure.
