FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that longtime OANDA executive Sam Eder has left the company, to start a new trader focused website and business called Marketmates, at website marketmates.com.
Sam Eder had been with OANDA based in Singapore for the past eight years, serving as OANDA’s Head of Emerging Markets for the past two years. Prior to OANDA, Sam had worked at Axi, Invast Global (now known as 26 Degrees), and GFT Markets.
It is unclear what Marketmates will offer, for now it is showing as a placeholder website. We understand that it will provide some sort of information and analysis for traders. In addition to his aforementioned executive roles in the Retail FX and CFDs sector, Sam also previously ran a Forex trading signals business called FX Renew.
