FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that offshore Retail FX and CFDs broker OnEquity has added a South Africa FSCA license for its subsidiary OnEquity (Pty) Ltd. To date, OnEquity has operated via Seychelles domiciled OnEquity Ltd.
The company has also hired former IronFX executive Enver Snyders, as Country Manager for South Africa.
OnEquity, which is managed mainly from Cyprus, was established in 2022 by Executive Chairman Nick Michaelides, and CEO Emanuel Fernandes. Nick Michaelides had previously worked at Alpari as Partnerships Manager, and also at easyMarkets. Most recently he has been running a company called OfficeSteps out of Cyprus, which provides flexible workspaces in Limassol. Emanuel Fernandes previously worked at XB Prime, 4xc.com, OneRoyal, and AFX Group.
