FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Cyprus, Australia, and Lebanon based Retail FX and CFDs broker OneRoyal has hired Limassol-based experienced industry marketing executive Dominic Poynter as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
Dominic’s hiring effectively fills the head-of-marketing role at OneRoyal vacated late last year after then-CMO Vince De Castro left to start his own digital marketing agency, De Castro Media, as was also exclusively reported at the time here at FNG.
Dominic Poynter joins OneRoyal after serving as CMO of online broker HYCM for the past year. Prior to HYCM, Dominic was Marketing Director of offshore broker Axiory. He has also served as Head of Marketing for ATFX Global Markets (CY) Ltd, the EU-facing operation of global broker ATFX, and worked previously in various marketing roles at easyMarkets and FxPro, dating back to 2010.
Founded in 2006, OneRoyal is a multi-licensed broker offering a wide range of CFD products for retail traders (under the OneRoyal brand) and institutional clients (OnePrime). The company holds CySEC, ASIC, VFSC and FSA licenses and is headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus (retail arm) and Sydney, Australia (institutional arm). OneRoyal is controlled by Lebanese businessman Rayan Al Annan.
