FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that trader-focused social networking site Stocktwits has promoted its India head Shiv Sharma to the position of President and General Manager of the company.
Shiv Sharma has been based in Singapore for Stocktwits for the past four years, serving as VP International and India Head. He joined Stocktwits in 2020 from Amazon Web Services, where he worked in senior business development roles focused on the Far East. Shiv has also worked at Cisco Investments, Fidelity, Palisade Capital Management, and RBC Capital Markets.
StockTwits, based in New York, is a social media platform designed for sharing ideas between investors, traders, and entrepreneurs. The company was co-founded by Howard Lindzon and Soren Macbeth in 2009, and has been run since 2020 by CEO Rishi Khanna.
