FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that longtime FX and CFDs industry senior executive Lubomir (Lubo) Kaneti has joined broker solutions provider SparkMarkets, as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
SparkMarkets is a New York based SAAS and technology provider, providing fintech solutions in the online trading space. The company’s solutions – including trading platform, ERP/CRM, and affiliate management – enhance the offering or outright power the operations of multiple FX, CFD, and DeFi trading firms across the world. While a new brand, SparkMarkets’ tech is based on xCritical, which has been providing solutions to brokers (primarily in Eastern Europe, Russia, Asia and the Middle East) for more than a decade.
Lubo Kaneti spent 13 years (2004-2016 inclusive) at Retail FX and CFDs broker FXDD, ending his tenure at FXDD as Chief Operating Officer (COO). After spending four years at CX Futures Exchange, a start-up subsidiary of Cantor Fitzgerald, he joined Trading.com in late 2020 ahead of the company’s then-planned launch in the US, serving as Trading.com’s Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), in charge of business development, sales and marketing. He left Trading.com late last year.
