FNG has learned that leading institutional trading services and liquidity solutions firm Finalto has hired FX and banking industry veteran Sam Horowitz, as the company’s new Head of Liquidity UK/EU.
Sam Horowitz, who is based in London, spent 20 years in the banking sector at institutions such as BBVA, Lloyds, Rabobank and UBS, working mainly in senior eFX desk roles. Sam then joined CMC Markets in 2021 and was installed in 2022 as CMC’s Head of FX Distribution and Liquidity Management. After leaving CMC in 2023, Sam has worked at money transfer companies Wise, and Rafiki.
Finalto has undergone a series of management changes, since earlier this year Finalto CEO Matthew Maloney stepped down, followed by COO Stanislav Bunimovich.
