Chennai: NBFC Five-Star Business Finance Limited on Tuesday reported a growth in Profit after Tax (PAT) by 38% at Rs 199 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2023 against Rs 144 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The company’s disbursement grew by 50% Y-oY and stood at Rs 1,204 crore in the second quarter of FY24. Its AUM was at Rs 8,264 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2023.
In a statement, Lakshmipathy Deenadayalan, CMD, Five-Star Business Finance said, the company witnessed strong traction across business and disbursal demand and collections momentum. “We added 70 branches during Q2FY2024, our highest ever branch additions in a quarter, resulting in a strong branch network of 456 branches,” he said.
