The UK Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) has provided an update to clients of Business Agent Ltd, trading as NextCrowd and NextFin.
Business Agent Ltd has been authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority since 2015.
Business Agent entered Administration on 8 May 2025. Louise Longley and Julian Pitts of Begbies Traynor Group were appointed as joint administrators. The Administrators have set up a dedicated web page for customers.
FSCS is not currently open to customer claims.
FSCS needs first to establish whether eligible claims against Business Agent are possible, and under the rules set for FSCS by the FCA. FSCS is currently investigating this.
