The UK Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) has provided an update on Central Markets Investment Management Ltd.
Central Markets Investment Management Limited (CMIML) went into creditors voluntary liquidation on 2 July 2024. Dominic Thiel-Czerwinke and Louise Baxter were appointed as joint liquidators.
CMIML was authorised by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) from 1 January 2008 and by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) from 1 April 2013. The firm was an investment management company whose services included discretionary fund management.
FSCS is accepting claims against CMIML. However, claims will not be passed to its claims assessment team to review straightaway. FSCS is in the early stages of investigating whether there are any claims against CMIML that meet the qualifying conditions for compensation.
