China’s CGS shuts ProsperUs Singapore CFDs unit amid consolidation. Singapore business site The Business Times is reporting that local CFDs broker ProsperUs (at website prosperus.asia) is being shut, as part of a consolidation being made by parent China Galaxy Securities and its main Singapore unit, CGS International.

Blair Hawthorne LoopFX launchLoopFX liquidity network launches with first trades. London based institutional peer-to-peer FX spot trading startup LoopFX has announced that it has officially launched as a live FX liquidity network, successfully matching clients’ trades within State Street’s FX Connect, the market-leading execution platform. Clients already signed include Schroders, Royal London Asset Management, State Street Investment Management and RBC Capital Markets.

Aetos London taxi advertisingCFDs broker Aetos relinquishes FCA license to focus on Australia, offshore. FNG has learned that Retail FX and CFDs brokerage group Aetos has given up its FCA license, granted to UK subsidiary Aetos Capital Group (UK) Limited. Aetos UK had held an FCA license since 2016. The Aetos UK arm had not been very active for the past few years. In 2024 Aetos UK posted just £479K in Revenues, although that was up from £399K in 2023.

Ferencvarosi TC iForexiFOREX becomes back-of-shirt sponsor for Ferencvárosi TC. Retail FX and CFDs broker iFOREX has announced the signing of an agreement designating iFOREX Europe as the Official Back of Shirt Sponsor of Ferencvárosi TC (FTC) – Hungary’s most decorated football club and the newly crowned 2025 Nemzeti Bajnokság I champions, after lifting their record-extending 36th title in May.

Financial and operating results posted this week by online brokers include:

  • XTB revenue flat ($155M) but Profits up 11% ($58M) in Q2 2025.
  • Robinhood revenues rise 7% ($989M) and profits up 15% ($386M) in bounceback Q2 2025.
  • CFI sees record $1.51 trillion in client trading volumes for Q2-2025.
