INFINOX ownership group acquires CFDs broker Skilling. An investor group led by Marc Joppeck, which also owns global trading brand INFINOX, has announced the acquisition of CySEC licensed CFDs broker Skilling.com, subject to final regulatory approval. Skilling was founded in 2016 and was controlled (until now) by former Betsafe CEO André Lavold. The company has been managed mainly from Cyprus, led by CEO George Kyriakoudes.

South Africa forexMitrade gains South Africa FSCA license acquiring Frida Asset Managers. Australia based, Far East focused Retail FX and CFDs broker Mitrade has announced that it has acquired Fridah Asset Managers Pty Ltd, a licensed Financial Services Provider (FSP) regulated by South Africa’s Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA).

Webull UKWebull UK expands with local shares and tiered accounts. After recently kicking off its EU efforts with a new Europe HQ in Amsterdam, neobroker Webull Corp (NASDAQ:BULL) has announced that it is expanding its offering for UK clients, with new account types and access to UK shares and ETFs. Webull UK, an FCA authorised investment platform, is launching two account tiers designed to meet the needs of both casual and active traders

US short sellers trading boardInstitutional FX trading volumes rise 8% in September 2025, FXSpotStream sets record. Following a fairly slow summer trading season, FX traders got back to work in September, with institutional trading volumes rising by an average of 8% MoM. Each of FXSpotStream, Cboe FX and 360T saw increases of between 7-18% in trading activity during September – including record trading levels at FXSpotStream – while EuronextFX reported a slight 1% decline.
