ICICI Bank has announced that its Board has approved the inclusion of Soumendra Mattagajasingh in the category of senior management personnel, effective May 1.
The Bank has appointed Mattagajasingh as its Group Chief Human Resources Officer.
Mattagajasingh replaces T K Srirang, who has been appointed as Joint Managing Director of ICICI Securities.
Mattagajasingh has experience of over 27 years, including more than 21 years at ICICI Bank.
He joined ICICI Bank in September 2002, and is currently serving as the Head of Business HR and Employee Relations.
Mattagajasingh’s experience in Human Resources at the Bank spans across business HR, employee relations, leadership development, training and policy formulation, according to a statement.
Prior to joining ICICI Bank, Mattagajasingh worked at HPCL and NMDC.
Mattagajasingh holds a Masters’ degree in Industrial Relations from Berhampur University.
