One of the habits I wish I’d learned back when I was younger is mindfulness.

Now that I’m completely a mindfulness enthusiast, believe me when I say, the power of mindfulness cannot be overstated, especially when you’re in your 20s.

Mindfulness is not just about meditation or yoga. It’s a lifestyle, an approach towards living.

It’s about being present in the moment, being aware of your thoughts and feelings without being overwhelmed by them.

Think about it. In this fast-paced world, we often get caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily life. We’re always planning for the future or dwelling on the past.

The result? We miss out on the present.

Adopting mindfulness helps you slow down and appreciate the present. It allows you to tune into your body and mind, helping you make better decisions in life.

When you start practicing mindfulness early, it becomes a habit that stays with you as you grow older.

It helps equip you with the tools to handle stress better, improves focus, and enhances overall well-being.

2) Cultivate compassion

One of the core teachings in Buddhism is the cultivation of compassion, both for oneself and others. I’ve personally found this to be a transformative practice in my life.
