FNG has learned that leading UK online broker IG Group (LON:IGG) has hired Barcelona based executive Esteve Jane as the company’s new Managing Director Europe Division, to head its non-UK European business.
Esteve Jane joins IG Group from outside “the industry”. For the past two years Esteve was Operating Partner for Helsinki based corporate finance advisory firm Aalto Capital. He has extensive online experience, serving from 2018-2022 as VP Global Markets for Amsterdam based online classifieds operator Adevinta, where he was also Head of JVs and Special Projects and also CEO of its Shpock mobile marketplace business.
Esteve was also previously a Partner at European VC firm Active Venture Partners for four years (2013-2017).
