The Board of IG Group Holdings plc (LON:IGG) today announced that Wu Gang, Non-Executive Director of IG, has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Coats Group plc with effect from 1 July 2025.
In addition, Wu Gang will join the Nomination Committee and the Remuneration Committee.
Wu Gang has a strong strategic and financial advisory background and a wealth of international experience gained from a career of over 25 years in investment banking in Asia and Europe.
Wu Gang held senior leadership positions at a number of leading China-based and global financial services firms including establishing and leading the London-based European investment banking team at CITIC CLSA Securities, the international investment banking platform of CITIC Securities. Prior to this, he led M&A and General Industrials client coverage groups at ICBC International. He also held senior level positions at Royal Bank of Scotland, HSBC and Merrill Lynch in Hong Kong and London.
Wu Gang started his investment banking career at Goldman Sachs.
He has an MBA from INSEAD, an MA from SOAS, and a BA from Fudan University.
