CHENNAI: Public sector Indian Bank paid a dividend of Rs 1,193.5 crore to the Centre for the financial year 2023-24.
Its MD & CEO S L Jain handed over the dividend cheque to Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Indian Bank said in a statement on Wednesday.
While the bank reported a net profit of Rs 8,063 crore for FY24, it declared a dividend of Rs 12 per equity share.
