Electronic trading major Interactive Brokers Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:IBKR) has just posted its key operating metrics for December 2024.
The brokerage registered 3.267 million Daily Average Revenue Trades (DARTs) in December 2024, 66% higher than in December 2023 and 1% lower than in November 2024.
Ending client equity amounted to $568.2 billion in December 2024, 33% higher than prior year and 1% lower than prior month. Ending client margin loan balances were $64.2 billion, 45% higher than prior year and 7% higher than prior month.
Ending client credit balances amounted to $119.7 billion, including $4.9 billion in insured bank deposit sweeps, 15% higher than prior year and 1% higher than prior month.
Interactive Brokers reported 3.34 million client accounts, 30% higher than in December 2023 and 3% higher than in November 2024.
Average commission per cleared Commissionable Order was $2.58 including exchange, clearing and regulatory fees.
