FNG has learned that longtime FX and CFDs industry executive Katina Messinis has joined Dubai based crypto broker Rain, in Institutional Sales.
Katina Messinis joins Rain from FX and digital assets prime brokerage GCEX, which she joined early last year as UAE Sales Director. Prior to her time at GCEX, Katina worked at Exinity, where she was VP of Global Sales, with a remit covering MENA, Africa, SEA and LATAM. She had also previously worked as Head of Premier Account Management at Exness in Malaysia, leading the sales team for Ultra High Net Worth clients and strategic partners across the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Previous roles also include Acting Head of Institutional Sales, ZuluTrade and Head of Business Development, Asia at PwC Legal International in Singapore.
Based in Dubai, Rain is a cryptocurrency brokerage and custodian servicing the Middle East, Turkey, and North Africa.
