Kotak Mahindra Bank has announced the appointment of Devang Gheewalla as its new Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective April 1, 2024.
Gheewalla will succeed Jaimin Bhatt, who will be retiring on March 31, 2024.
Bringing a wealth of experience to his new role, Gheewalla has been an integral part of Kotak since 2004. With a background in finance and as a Chartered Accountant by profession, Gheewalla, aged 56, has served in various capacities within the organiation.
Currently, he is holding the position of President and CFO Banking.
Gheewalla’s strategic vision and leadership are expected to play a crucial role in the bank’s continued success, the bank said in a regulatory filing.
