KPMG in India has named Hemant Jhajhria as Partner and Head of Consulting, who will supervise Business, Technology and Risk Consulting practices. Operating from Mumbai, he will join the India Leadership Team (ILT) and direct the firm’s initiatives to combine its services for delivering client solutions.
With 24 years of professional experience, Jhajhria specializes in strategy consulting and business management. He has advised financial services clients, large conglomerates, digital/fintech startups, and private equity/venture capital clients on growth strategies, business transformation, and technology implementation across India and US markets.
Previously, Jhajhria served as Managing Director & Partner at BCG. He demonstrated expertise in developing transformation projects across operations, risk, technology, and analytics, leading to successful team building and revenue generation.
He pioneered gen AI applications for Asian clients and served as BCG India’s Marketing Chair. His career began at Citigroup, where he spent over ten years in leadership positions managing consumer banking, wealth management, lending, and digital operations.
