Ahead of Budget 2025, as a tradition, Union Finance Minister and Minister of State for Finance pay a meet to the President of India. President Droupadi Murmu also fed dahi-cheeni (Curd and Sugar) to Nirmala Sitharaman, which is an Indian tradition of commencing any important task.
Sitharaman has left from the North Block for Rashtrapati Bhawan to meet President Droupadi Murmu.
