FNG has learned that Ali Makki has left his position as Head of MENA at Retail FX and CFDs broker Markets.com.
Ali Makki joined Markets.com in early 2024, as was exclusively reported at the time here at FNG. Based in Beirut, Ali Makki is the founder and CEO of AlphaA Traders, which provides analysis and education tools for traders in the MENA region.
Ali posted the following note today on social media regarding his departure from Markets.com.
Now that I have experienced such an amazing voyage with Markets.com it is time for me to embark on my next adventure.
Working with such a talented group and getting to work with the wonderful Dany Mawas was an absolute pleasure.
I will always be grateful for the wonderful moments I had there, and the experiences and information I learnt were priceless.
I want to thank all of the Markets.com team for making this chapter so special. Let’s go on to fresh chances and challenges!
