NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(Rs. 1212.36 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 770.22 crore), Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 658.88 crore), Jio Financial Servic(Rs. 645.66 crore), Indus Towers(Rs. 635.38 crore), Railtel Corp(Rs. 519.20 crore), Cochin Shipyard(Rs. 515.51 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 487.63 crore), HAL(Rs. 466.42 crore) and TCS(Rs. 383.09 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:00AM in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 129.05 points down at 22069.3, while BSE Sensex was down 388.68 points at 72706.54 as of 11:00AM(IST)on February 28.
In the Nifty index, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.03 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 0.87 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 0.83 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.36 per cent) and Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 0.17 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 2.49 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 2.38 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 1.81 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.80 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.75 per cent) were among the top losers.
