FNG has learned that Dubai based Retail FX and CFDs brokerage group MultiBank has hired experienced industry executive Sophie Squillacioti as Head of China. Sophie will be based out of Dubai for her new role with MultiBank, and will also serve as advisor to the Chairman of the company, Naser Taher.
Sophie Squillacioti joins MultiBank after serving as Director of Sales APAC for Equiti Group for the past year. In 2022-2023 Sophie was Head of Asia for INFINOX, after serving in a similar role for BDSwiss. From 2019-2021 she was at BlackBull Markets as Managing Director, China. Other roles to her credit include Managing Director, Country Head for Greater China at Halifax Investment Services, Managing Director, Greater China at ACM Group PLC, and Managing Director, Head of China and APAC sales at City Index, amongst others.
