India’s Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal is in the United States for trade talks and the negotiations have to be watched, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said on Thursday, as President Donald Trump’s plan to slap reciprocal tariffs looms.
“We will have to see how commerce ministry takes up negotiations in the U.S.,” she said at an industry event in Andhra Pradesh state.
