Bank of Baroda has revised the interest rates on its fixed deposits (FDs) of up to Rs 2 crore. Following the change, Bank of Baroda offers interest rates up to 7.25 per cent for the general public. Senior citizens can earn up to 7.75 per cent on fixed deposits. The revised interest rates on fixed deposits are effective from October 9, 2023, as per the bank’s website.

On deposits maturing between seven and 14 days, Bank of Baroda pays a 3% interest rate and 3.50% interest on tenure of 15 days to 45 days. The bank has raised interest rate by 50 bps from 4.5 percent interest rate to 5% that mature in 46 to 180 days. On FDs with maturities between 181 and 210 days, Bank of Baroda will pay interest at a rate of 5.50% from earlier 5.25%. Fixed deposits with maturities of 211 days to 270 days will receive interest at a rate of 6% from 5.75%. On fixed deposits with maturities between 271 days & above and less than 1 year, the bank will give an interest rate of 6.25%.The bank will offer an interest rate of 6.75 per cent on fixed deposits maturing between one to two years. The bank will offer a highest interest rate of 7.25 per cent on FD tenures of above two years and up to three years from 7.05%, an hike of 20 bps. The bank offers an interest rate of 6.50% on FDs maturing between three and ten years.

On special deposit of Baroda Tiranga Plus Deposit Scheme with 399 days tenure, the bank reduced FD interest rate by 10 bps from 7.25% to 7.15%.

Bank of Baroda offers interest rates between 6.90% to 7.40% for general citizens and 7.40% to 7.90 for senior citizens for tenure ranging from one year to 10 years.
