The margin amount for Gold and Platinum Futures (Gold Standard Futures, Platinum Standard Futures, Gold Mini Futures and Platinum Mini Futures) on Osaka Exchange, Inc. (OSE) is increasing significantly.
The change reflects the rapid fluctuation of their prices in recent times.
The margin amount per contract, applicable from the open positions at the end of tomorrow’s day session, will be 1,049,000 yen for gold standard futures contract and 295,000 yen for platinum standard futures contract.
The Exchange warns that the margin amounts may continue to rise depending on market trends, and ask market participants to take note of this when conducting their transactions.
