FNG has learned that longtime Pepperstone UK executive Laurent McClintock has moved to rival online broker ActivTrades, as ActivTrades’ new Head of Business Development & Partnerships (UK). Laurent McClintock was with Pepperstone in London since 2016, ending his tenure at the Australia based broker late last year as Sales Manager UK & EEA.

With ActivTrades, Laurent will be leading the development and execution of growth strategies in the UK market. His remit will include being responsible for driving business expansion through strategic partnerships, cultivating relationships with affiliates, IBs, and key stakeholders, and identifying new opportunities to enhance revenue and market presence for ActivTrades.

ActivTrades PLC is a financial markets broker which specialises in offering customers online trading of contracts for difference (CFDs) and spread betting in Forex, Indices, Financials, Commodities and Equities. The Company is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and has licensed subsidiaries in other jurisdictions. ActivTrades has a large branch in Bulgaria which performs IT development and risk management as well as other support services. ActivTrades is controlled by its longtime CEO, Swiss national and Monaco resident Alex Pusco.
