FNG has learned that longtime FX industry executive Petros Kalaitzis has joined Malta based prop trading firm FunderPro, as the company’s new Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).
Petros Kalaitzis joins FunderPro after spending the past two years with broker tech provider Tools for Brokers, as Managing Director and head of Tools for Brokers’ Cyprus office. He was previously Chief Experience Officer at NAGA Group, Head Of Client Services at Tickmill, and Manager – Retail and Corporate Sales at Saxo Bank Cyprus, after beginning his FX industry career as a Dealer at eToro in 2012.
Petros also has some experience in the prop trading world, working briefly in a senior management role at The Trading Pit in 2022, before joining Tools for Brokers.
FunderPro is part of a group of fintech companies which include “broker as a service” and “prop as a service” technology firm Netrios, and IT-for-brokers services company Red Acre, which are both headed by former BDSwiss CEO Nicolas Shamtanis. Other group brands include TradeLocker, Zeply, Cryptopanic, and Cryptochill.
